Talha Talib
Talha Talib is born on born 3 October 1999 in Gujranwala. He is the Pakistani domestic champion in the 62 kg category. He set a record by lifting 132 kg in the third attempt with 127 kg and 130 kg in the first two attempts. In 2016 Commonwealth Youth Weightlifting Championships, he also made his position as gold medalist in Penang.

Weightlifting Career
In Samoa at Commonwealth Youth Games of 2015,Talha won the silver medal in the 56 kg category. He lifted weight of 115kg in clean and jerk for an aggregate of 217 kg and 102 kg in snatch. He also participated in IWF Youth World Championships in Penang. In IWF Championship he got 9th position in the 62 kg category. In 2018 Commonwealth Games, he won a bronze medal in the 62 kg category.
Talib won the gold medal in 2019 South Asian Games. He won a gold medal by lifting weight of 142kg in the 6th International Solidarity Weightlifting Championship . Talha again won a bronze medal by lifting weight of 148 kg in April 2020.
He became the popular when he took fifth position in the men’s 67kg event in Olympics. Talha won the bronze medal by lifting143 kg in the snatch event in the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships. He became the first-ever Pakistani to have medal at the World Weightlifting Championships.
After the positive test for norandrosterone,he was provisionally suspended from weightlifting. Talha is consider as a important name in the List of Athletes of Gujranwala.

Nooh Dastgir Butt – List of Athletes of Gujranwala
Nooh Dastgir Butt was born on 3 February in 1998. His native city is Gujranwala. He is a gold medalist weightlifter. In the 2022 Commonwealth Games, he won the Gold Medal.
Butt belongs to a famous weightlifting Kashmiri family. His father is Ghulam Dastgir Butt. He was also a part of international weightlifting events. Ghulam Dastgir also became coach of his on Nooh. His brother is Hanzala Dastgir Butt and he is also a weightlifter. He also participated in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Weightlifting Career
Nooh could not take part in event of 2000 Tokyo Olympics because of his thigh injury. He won the bronze medal in the 105+ kg weightlifting competition in the 2018 Commonwealth Games after his recovery. He participated in snatch category by lifting 173kg.
Butt successfully lifted 222 kg in his first attempt of clean and jerk category to confirm his medal. Nooh tried lifting 228 kg in his 2nd attempt and 231 kg in his 3rd attempt in effort to win gold medal but he failed.
In 2021 World Championship, he won the silver medal. He was qualified for the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Butt achieved Pakistan’s first gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games by winning men’s +109 kg weightlifting event on 3 August 2022. Nooh lifted 173kg in the snatch category. He lifted 232 kg in clean and jerk category.
He also won Bronze medal at Commonwealth Games junior championships in India in 2015 and Penang, Malaysia in 2016. Nooh also set a record in junior commonwealth by lifted 395 kg.

Muhammad Bilal – List of Athletes of Gujranwala
He is the Pakistani wrestler. On 24 September 1995, Muhammad Bilal was born in Gujranwala. He is a freestyle wrestler. Bilal is cousin of Muhammad Inam who is also a Pakistani famous wrestler.
Career As Wrestler
He achieved bronze medal in 2018 Commonwealth Games. In a freestyle wrestling competition, he won match on a one-sided score of 6:1 in 57-kg. In 2014 he took part in Asian Games and secured 13th position in Freestyle 57 kg category. He gained 11th rank in 2015 Asian Championships.
He secured 14th rank in 2016 Asian Championships. Bilal also participated in Commonwealth Championships and secured 2nd position in 57-kg freestyle category and 3rd rank in Greco-Roman 60 kg category.
He also participated in Islamic Solidarity Games and achieved 7th rank in 2017. At the same year, he took part in Commonwealth Championships in two categories.

Muhammad Inam
Muhammad Inam is a famous wrestler. He was born on 27 February 1989 in Gujranwala. Inam is a Freestyle wrestlers. He is also the main person represents in the List of Athletes of Gujranwala.
Career As Wrestlers
He participated in the 84 kg freestyle category at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Inam won the gold medal against Indian Anuj Kumar in freestyle category during this event. Inam also participate in the 2014 Asian beach Games in Phuket. He won bronze medal in 90+ kg category of Beach style.
In 2016, he participated in the 86 kg of freestyle category in 12th South Asian Games held in India. In this event he won gold medal against Gopal Yaduv.
He also won the gold medal against his Iranian opponent. In 2016, he also participated in Singapore Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in 86 kg class freestyle. He won the silver medal in the Singapore Championship.
At the 2018 Commonwealth Games, he won the gold medal in the 86 kg category. In 2021, Inam also won gold medal at the Beach wrestling world series freestyle in Rome. He won by beating his Ukrainian opponent.
